Metropolitan Community Church of the Coachella Valley is congregation where everyone is welcome – with a special and affirming outreach to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people. We passionately believe that The Gospel is a Gospel of love, compassion and joy, not a stick to beat people over the head with!
Additionally, we assert that doctrines and beliefs that degrade and denigrate human life, including the belief that homosexuality is sin, explicitly contradict both the law Christ asserted, and the call for social justice and compassion at the heart of His ministry.
We as a church community will not be judged by our words, but by our actions – and the truth that we only love God insofar as we love our neighbor, and ourselves; we seek a healthy, whole spirituality, and hope to seek it with you!
No that no matter who (or what) you are…God loves you and Jesus died and rose again for you…oh yes and if we didn’t mention it…you are always welcome at MCCCV! Our new pastor stands by an absolute promise, that MCCCV will be a place of safety for ALL peoples, and that we will seek to CELEBRATE you, not TOLERATE you!!
